Twenty-one days of Yule

Day 21: From the God we learn to rest and be renewed when we
are tired, and to trust even when life seems hard.
Go see the Sunrise.

Day 20: Old and tired by the longest night, the God sleeps in the arms
of the Goddess and is reborn at dawn.
Unwrap new jammies

Day 19: He awakens in our hearts the desire to give gifts,
that will warm the cold nights and helpt the Sun to shine.
Bake cookies.



Day 18: The God is Her messenger, dressed in colors of red, black, and white.
Have a cup of hot cocoa.

Day 17: At Yule, the God is the bringer of gifts.
Write down your five Best memories from the past year.

Visit Santa

Day 15: Life is the first gift we receive from the Goddess.
Play a family game
Day 14: The Goddess teaches us to be kind, helpful, generous, and brave.

Day 13: At Yule, the Goddess appears as the mother.
Read a Holiday story
Day 12: The secret of the Solstice is that just when everything
looks darkest, the light is reborn.
Go see the lights.
Day 11:  African American people celebrate
Kwanza, lighting candles for seven nights.
Write down what you adore most about each member
of the family.
Day 10: Jewish people light candles for the eight days
and nights of Chanukah.
Watch a holiday movie.
Day 9: Sometimes the Goddess's lessons may be hard,
but She always gives us another chance.
Go see a light parade
Day 8: People of many different religions try to
strengthen the light.
Decorate the Yule tree
Day 7: This time of year was sacred long before the birth of Christ
Make Tree ornaments

Day 6: Yule is also a word Christians use for the Christmas Season.
Have Breakfast for dinner

Day 5: At Yule, the Sun symbolically dies and is reborn
Donate gift(s) to a child in need

Day 4: We fear winter will last forever
Play Holiday music and sing along


Day 3: At this time the Sun seems to
be weak, even dying.
Write a letter to Santa


Day 2: The Solstice is the longest night and shortest day of the year.
Attend a Holiday Show. ~ We saw Make We Joy


Day 1:  Yule is the ancient name for the Winter Solstice.
